A train stopped to let an elephant pass, in eastern India's West Bengal.

The incident happened on the railway track between the Nagrakata village and Chalsa town in Jalpaiguri district on November 4.

Visuals showed the 15768DN Alipurduar Jn-Siliguri Intercity express having stopped on its tracks. The elephant stood by the side of the railway track and the train honked to let it pass. After hearing the horn, the pachyderm got on the track and slowly crossed over to the side.

The elephant then was seen walking into a bushy area on the other side of the track.
