This is the hilarious moment a truck driver chased after dislodged wheel rolling down a road.

The shabby dump truck pulled over onto the side of a road when one of its tires detached in Nonthaburi province on December 8.

Seconds later, a frantic driver climbed down, running after the vehicle part as it cut through the busy highway.

Footage shows the truck driver sprinting to catch the large wheel while signalling to other motorists.

Onlooker Ploypailin Thayikathayika said: ‘I was with my husband and daughter when the truck stopped a few meters in front of us.

'The wheel rolled away. Then the driver ran after it. It was my first time seeing that happen.'

The wheel was eventually pulled back to the side of the road while the driver called mechanics to help him fix the truck.
