Buffaloes poke their heads through kitchen window to be fed bananas
This is the amusing moment buffaloes poked their heads through a kitchen window to be fed bananas.
Housewife Rasita Joradol heard a sound of metal clanging outside her house, prompting her to look out – only to find her two rescued bovines standing still.
CCTV footage shows Rasita pulling up the blinds before sliding the window open at the Once Upon a Time Life-Saving Farm in Chaiyaphum, northeast Thailand, on November 7.
Yingyai, a three-year-old horned beast, poked his head through, sending the woman into fits of laughter.
Moments later, Yingyai moved away before his mother, Phachok, stepped forward to greet their owner.
Rasita then handed a banana to the 15-year-old cow, which the animal proceeded to munch on as the keeper continued to giggle.
Rasita said: 'I heard a sound outside that seemed like someone was hammering metal or hitting a vehicle. I wondered what it was, so I opened the window to look, but it was very dark and I couldn't see anything.
'When I leaned out, I was startled and completely caught off guard — there was a buffalo standing right next to the window. It was a mother-and-calf pair that had been rescued and cared for on the farm.'
