Ash Rain from Mount Merapi Eruption Falls in Magelang, Sky Suddenly Darkens
Ash rain came from Mount Merapi which again spewed hot clouds of avalanches (APG), at 12.12 WIB, Saturday (11/3/2023) towards Kali Bebeng or Kali Krasak.
meanwhile rain of volcanic ash covered the sub-districts of Sawangan, Shaman, Candimulyo, Muntilan, Tegalrejo, Pakis, Ngablak, Mertoyudan, Kaliangkrik, Borobudur, to the Magelang City area.
In the Tegalrejo area, which is more than 20 kilometers from the peak of Mount Merapi, volcanic ash rain was observed to be thick enough to cover residents' houses, roads, cars, plants and so on.
Residents were surprised because suddenly the sky turned dark gray.
