Eight members of a family were rescued by fire brigade officials after they were stuck inside a lift in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened in the Gold Gardenia society in sector Alpha 2 of Greater Noida on April 13.

Visuals showed the fire and rescue department officials breaking open the gate of the elevator to rescue the ones trapped inside. A hydraulic cutter was used to cut open the doors of the lift. The officials were able to save the family members, who were seen coming out one after the other through the broken door of the elevator. According to a report, the family members included a two-year-old child and two senior citizens. They were unhurt in this incident.

The family members got stuck in the lift and they sent an alert and society residents and security guards rushed to their aid. They were stuck inside the lift for around two hours. The police were also informed and they called the fire brigade to rescue the trapped.
