Brave mechanics helped catch a wild python that slithered their repair shop.

The workers were serving customers when they spotted the serpent moving across their workplace in Rayong province, Thailand on March 14.

While the snake sparked panic, three employees grabbed what they could and quickly secured the snake.

Footage shows one of the workers holding a broom to pin the animal down. Two of his colleagues took a sack and a stick to keep the snake before the animal rescuers arrived to take it.

Colleague Chettha Rungsila said: ‘Everything happened really fast. We didn't have enough time to wait for the rescue volunteers.'

No one was hurt and the python was safety turned over to the officers.
