UK Rail Strikes: Trains parked and unused as a new wave of strikes brings British network to a standstill

Aerial footage shows rows of commuter trains parked up and unused as a new wave of railway strikes hit the United Kingdom.

Ongoing pay disputes between the government and the ASLEF and RMT unions saw an almost entire train network shut down on Saturday 3 June 2023.

Trains were left parked up and unused at both Soho and Tyseley traction maintenance depots (TMD) as both unions have rejected the pay offers put forward by the British government, with claims there is still strong support for industrial action among their members.

Rail services are expected to cause major disruption for those travelling to the FA Cup Final and the Epsom Derby.
