Firefighters deploy water hose to cool hundred of pigs suffering from heatstroke on Chinese highway
Firefighters deployed a water hose to cool around a hundred of pigs loaded on a truck suffering from heatstroke on a highway in central China.
The video was filmed in the city of Nanyang in Henan Province on July 10.
Firefighters held a water hose to spray water on the pigs loaded on a truck to cool them down.
According to reports, the pigs were collectively suffering from heatstroke as they appeared lethargic and were struggling to breathe. Some of them had even collapsed on the truck bed, their eyes half-closed, on the verge of unconsciousness.
After around 20 minutes of rescue, the pigs gradually responded to the treatment, showing signs of revived vitality.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
