The first cruise liner arrived at Portland Port since the Bibby Stockholm migrant barge docked.

The Norwegian Dawn, a Norwegian Cruise Line vessel, arrived at the Dorset port on July 26.

The filmer told Newsflare: "The cruise ship passengers will get close-up views of the immigration barge straight out of the luxury cabin windows or port holes of the ship.

"It will be hard for them to miss the barge hard to miss as it's moored just a few hundred metres away from the dockside where the Norwegian Dawn is tied up. "

Protesters from the "No to The Barge" group lined the streets as buses carrying passengers from the cruise liner passed.

According to reports, the first group of asylum seekers' arrival at the barge has been delayed.

Protests continue at Portland Port in Dorset with the ‘No To The Barge’ group as the first full passenger ship arrived in the port today.

The protesters wanted to make their statements to the passengers arriving on the first cruise ship to use the port after the Bibby Stockholm barge came last week.

The cruise ship passengers will get close up views of the immigration barge straight out of their luxury cabin windows or port holes.

It will be hard for them to miss the barge as its moored just a few hundred metres away from the dockside where the Norwegian Dawn is tied up. The other passenger cruise ship berth will be less than 200metres away from the barge.

Further plans are being made to take similar protest action every time a cruise ship comes to the port.

A number of police officers and a liaison officer were at the port along with port police too.

The protesters about 40 in number waved banners, placards and chanted as each bus passed them on the main road into the port.
