A physical altercation erupted between several tourists within the exhibition hall in the Terracotta Army tourist site in Xi'an City in Shaanxi Province on August 7.

Later that evening, Xi'an's Public Security Bureau Lintong Branch reported that the dispute had occurred due to overcrowding, which then escalated into a physical fight. However, through mediation, both parties involved reached a resolution.

Upon investigation, it was found that around 11:00 am in the No.2 pit exhibition hall of the Terracotta Army tourist area, a group of four tourists led by Mr Qu, 41, got into a dispute with a group of three tourists led by Mr Gao, 38, over the crowded conditions. T

his dispute then escalated into a brawl. During the police investigation, both parties recognized their mistakes and obtained forgiveness from each other.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "People's Republic of China Public Security Administration Punishment Law," the bureau has mediated the case. Both parties have reached a mediation agreement and have fulfilled it.

2023年8月7日，我局接报警称，兵马俑景区发生打架，民警立即赶赴现场调查处置。

经查，当日11时许，兵马俑景区二号坑展览馆内，游客曲某（男，41岁） 一行四人与游客高某（男，38岁） 一行三人因拥挤发生争执，进而相互撕打。公安机关调查过程中，双方当事人均认识到自身错误，并取得对方谅解。

根据《中华人民共和国治安管理处罚法》有关规定，我局对该案做调解处理，双方当事人已达成调解协议并履行。
