Woman throws scalding hot soup in female customer's face in China
This is the shocking moment a woman throws scalding hot soup in a female customer's face sending her running out of the restaurant to find help.
Surveillance camera footage from January 9, showed a waitress cleaning one of the tables at the restaurant in the city of Lushan in Jiangxi, China, as the woman approached.
After walking up to the waitress, the unknown lady then suddenly picked up a hot pot that was placed on the table and threw it in the face of a customer sitting on the left.
The customer can then be seen storming out of the restaurant in an attempt to find help. Terrified over the act, the rest of the customers quickly left the place.
Police later arrived to investigate the incident.
The restaurant's manager told Chinese media that the woman who threw the hot pot was having dinner with her husband before the attack.
Suspecting that she was stressed, he said that the two women did not know each other from before.
He revealed that the affected customer suffered blisters and was subsequently treated in the hospital. Her medical expenses were covered by the attacker's husband.
