Indonesian League 2 Final Cemen Padang FC Vs PSBS Biak Biak Chaos, Final Score 0-3
The second leg of the Cemen Padang VS PSBS Biak League 2 final at GOR Haji Agus Salim Padang, Saturday (9/3/2024) evening ended in chaos.
The chaos occurred after a group of Cemen Padang FC supporters lit flares and threw them onto the pitch. A shower of flares and fireworks was set off by fans around the 80th minute.
As a result the match was stopped. Flares and firecrackers were seen coming from the north and south stands. The Cemen Padang FC vs PSBS Biak duel was held at the Haji Agus Salim Stadium, Padang City, West Sumatra, Saturday (9/3) evening.
PSBS is currently ahead with a score of 3-0. As a result of this incident, dozens of Padang fans appeared short of breath and had to be rushed to hospital to receive further medical treatment.
The match ended with PSBS Biak being declared champions of the 2023/2024 Indonesian League 2. Even though they are in 2nd place, Cemen FC will still accompany PSBS in promotion to the Indonesian League 1 next season. Regarding sanctions related to riot cases, we are still waiting for the decision of the Indonesian League organizing committee.
