Injured Hiker Rescued from Skyline Park-Trail in Daring Operation in Napa County, CA, USA

In a coordinated effort between first responders, a successful rescue operation took place at Skyline Park in Napa County. The incident occurred when a hiker sustained injuries while on a single track trail.
H-30, along with Napa State Hospital Fire and AMR Napa County, swiftly responded to the scene after receiving a report of the injured hiker. With the help of GPS coordinates provided by Cal Fire St Helena Dispatch, H-30 was able to locate the patient and lower a flight officer/paramedic to assist.
The injured hiker was then safely hoisted by H-30 and transported to a waiting AMR Ambulance. From there, she was taken to a local hospital for further treatment of her minor injuries.
