Train hits motorcyclist who crashes through railway barrier and falls on tracks
A train hit a motorcyclist who crashed through a railway barrier and fell on the track in southwestern China.
The terrifying CCTV footage was filmed in Honghe Hani and Yi Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province on May 12.
The railway crossing barrier fully lowered, with two workers stationed on either side. One worker used a flashlight to signal warning signs towards the opposite side. Suddenly, a motorcyclist appeared without slowing down, crashing directly into the barrier.
The motorcycle skidded forward, causing the rider to fall onto the railway tracks. As the man fell, a train swiftly approached. Despite the train's emergency braking, it collided with the man, pushing him along the tracks before coming to a halt.
Local vendors noted that while the railway crossing lacked traffic lights, workers were typically present during train passages.
Authorities responded, confirming that the man involved in the incident was not in critical condition.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
