USA: Train vs Pedestrian Fatality in Van Nuys

Location: Railroad tracks east of 7600 Woodman Avenue.
PRELIM: Two adult pedestrians (one male, one female, approximately 35 years of age) deceased at scene after being struck by southbound Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Train #794. The train remains at scene. No other injuries reported. None of the passengers or crew aboard the intercity passenger train require medical assistance.
