A heroic man lowered down a building to rescue a child trapped in a security net in southern China.

The video was filmed in Foshan City in Guangdong Province on June 18. A man named Li tied a fire hose to his body and climbed down from the 7th floor outside a building to lift a child to safety.

According to reports, the rescuer, Mr. Li, is a full-time chauffeur in his 90s.

Li stated that the incident occurred around 6:00 in the morning. He noticed the child stuck in the security net when he was on his way back home after a night shift.

The child was on the 6th floor, and since the door couldn't be opened, people went up to the 7th floor and lowered Li down to save the toddler.

Mr. Li said that several other kind-hearted people joined in the rescue as well.

After the toddler was saved, all rescuers stayed until the child's family returned before leaving.

Local community workers said that the parents were out when the incident occurred. They only discovered the accident upon returning.

小男孩是在七楼，由于门打不开，
大家就上到八楼用消防水带，

绑住身体掉下去将小孩救了回来！
据了解，

孩子大概被卡了10分钟左右。

李先生表示，自己也有小孩，
孩子已经命悬一线，
再不救就救不回来了 。
李先生说，除了他，

还有多位热心人在一起救，

大家一直守到孩子的家人回来才离开。

当地社区工作人员表示：

家长事发时正好出门，

回来才发现意外，

孩子经过医院检查后没有大碍。
