STORYLINE:

A delegation of journalists from Iranian media organizations visited the Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in northwest China's Qinghai Province on Monday.

During their visit to Qinghai Lake and a solar power farm, the journalists gained a firsthand understanding of Qinghai's achievements in ecological conservation and green development, expressing expectations for more cooperation between China and Iran.

"I've been really impressed by what Qinghai Province, people and also officials do for protecting the environment. "According to what we have heard from experts here, after they started planting all these solar panels in here, the green grass and everything started growing underneath the panels. And then we can see that even the sheep can come and feed off the grasses in here. These actually have had so much impact on the cleaner energy and cleaner Earth. I think we can also learn this from China. And I hope that in the future Iran and China can work together. And China can help Iran to move towards green energy."
