Lusaka, Zambia - July 26, 2024

The China Media Group (CMG) held a series of dialogues in some African countries, including Zambia and South Africa, on global cooperation opportunities brought by China's reforms on Wednesday.

The events were part of the "Global Opportunities in Deepening China's Reform in the New Era" Global Dialogue Series organized by the CMG.

Shen Haixiong, vice minister of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and CMG president delivered a speech via video link.

Noting the importance of comprehensively deepening of reforms, Shen said the CMG has been committed to telling the stories about China's reform and opening up and Chinese modernization, and has always been actively building bridges for exchanges, dialogue and mutual learning between China and the rest of the world.

The CMG will continue to promote cultural exchanges, carry out extensive cooperation with other cultural institutions, international organizations and think tanks, and share the global opportunities in deepening China's reform in the new era, so as to make greater contribution to the modernization of the world featuring peace, development, mutually beneficial cooperation and common prosperity, Shen said.

The participants agreed that China's determination to deepen reforms and further promote Chinese modernization in the new era will bring more new ideas to BRICS and African countries, and inject new energy into the building of a China-Africa community with a shared future and a community with a shared future for mankind.
