A landlord came to the rescue of a 1-year-old child who was on the verge of falling down a flight of stairs in Dongguan, Guangdong Province.

CCTV footage from August 27 shows the child in a walker teetering on the edge of the stairs.

The landlord, who was checking the cameras at the time, spotted this and quickly rushed out to grab the child before they fell and hurt themselves.

After the incident, the child's mother expressed deep gratitude for the landlord’s heroic actions. She explained that she had been occupied with other matters at the time and had not noticed the child's dangerous situation.

She said that if it were not for the landlord's timely assistance, the consequences would have been unimaginable. To show her appreciation, she prepared a red envelope and bought gifts for the landlord.
