This is the heartwarming moment police helped a disabled lottery ticker seller - by pulling his wheelchair along a busy road.

The two officers on a motorcycle spotted the hardworking handicapped man struggling to wheel himself and his wares along the highway in the midday 36C heat in Chonburi, Thailand, on September 1.

Instead of questioning his affairs, they pulled over and offered a helping hand to take him home.

Footage captured by Kamonchanun Moonsreenaul shows one of the officials riding on the pillion, holding the handlebar of the mobility chair, while his colleague drives the vehicle slowly.

The kind-hearted policeman braced his upper body in an awkward position while dragging the wheelchair.

The filmer said: 'We appreciate the police officer. He might have back pain from sitting in that position.'
