This is the heartwarming moment a deliveryman carried a bunch of flowers through raging floods during Tropical Storm Trami in the Philippines.

The determined worker was taking to online order to a home inundated with torrents of water in Lipa City, Batangas, on October 24.

Residents praised his work ethic - carrying out his duties despite the dangers posed by the storm.

Onlooker Jasmine Montes said: 'While at the height of the storm, we were all panicking because the flood water was rising, then I saw the man delivering flowers. We were so impressed.'

Trami, known locally as Kristine, intensified into a severe tropical storm as it churned over the Philippine Sea on Wednesday.

Philippine weather agency PAGASA said it made landfall over Isabela province in the country's northeast at 12:30 am on Thursday, October 24.

Authorities said at least 24 people have died and thousands have fled to evacuation shelters as storm warnings were raised across the northern and central parts of the country.
