Pet dog rescued from raging house fire in Bangkok
A pet dog was rescued from a raging house fire in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Maltese and Yorkshire Terrier mixed-breed pooch was carried from the burning property by a neighbour as the blaze quickly spread on Saturday night.
Footage shows the Morkie canine being held by a Good Samaritan as they watched the home engulfed in flames.
A fire truck and medics ambulance arrived to help with the operation.
Onlooker Khin Sar said: 'I live in an apartment opposite the fire. I was woken up by the fire alarm and looked outside and saw the flames. Everybody ran into the street. The person holding the dog told us he saved it from the burning house.'
The pooch was unhurt without burn marks on its long fur. Other animals including chickens were also rescued from the house.
Fire volunteers rushed to control the blaze that razed the property, which was made mostly of wooden materials.
Authorities were able to put out the inferno before it could spread to neighnbouring homes.
