Free diver crashes into corals while floating back to surface
A freediver crashed into corals twice while swimming back to the surface in the Philippines.
Niel Paras explored the beautiful Napaling Reef and was gliding upwards when he hit his back and head on the rocky outcrops in Bohol on December 22.
Footage shows Niel with flippers and goggles bumping his back on the jagged formation underwater.
He then swam faster as he was resurfacing and hit his head. He pushed himself away from the rock finally and reached the ocean's surface.
He said: 'We had so much fun in Napaling Reef but those are some of our free dive blooper.'
