Pet cat stuck in narrow gap at the side of house is rescued
A pet cat that was stuck in a narrow gap at the side of a house was rescued in Thailand.
The three-year-old moggy slipped to the bottom of the space while walking on the roof and had to be extracted by volunteers in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, on January 29.
Footage shows the feline being lured and fished out using a rope noose tied to a long pole.
Two volunteers from the municipal government office used their DIY tools to pull the grey tabby out carefully.
House owner Dr Kham said: 'The cat was crying for help, but the space was very narrow. We could not pull it out so we asked for help.'
After three hours, the feline was successfully freed. The scared and exhausted cat dashed out of the house.
A bowl of food and water was left nearby for the moggy so it could eat.
Dr Kham added: 'It took hours to save the cat, but we were relieved it was not hurt. The community is really generous.'
