Meghan Aguilar provides an update on the officer-involved shooting in Wilshire Division: At approximately 8:47 p.m., Wilshire officers went into pursuit of a possible burglary suspect. The vehicle turned into a cul-de-sac, turned around, and began driving at officers. At that time, an officer-involved shooting occurred. The suspect continued to flee, and officers continued to chase, ultimately crashing into an innocent motorist (an adult female). The female was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries One suspect fled the vehicle prior to the traffic collision. That suspect is still outstanding.
