Los Angeles, United States - March 13, 2025 03/13/2025 09:30 pm (GMT-0700) SAN FERNANDO, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officers from the Newhall office initiated a pursuit of a Chevrolet Malibu late Thursday evening, southbound on State Route 14 at the Interstate 5 interchange. According to Officer Curtiss of the California Highway Patrol, the vehicle was wanted for speeding and weaving through traffic. During the pursuit, the driver entered oncoming lanes. The chase ended at Second Street and Harding Avenue in San Fernando, where an unknown number of occupants fled on foot. Officers established a perimeter and requested assistance from allied agencies in the search. The CHP air unit was also summoned to the scene. The San Fernando Police Department received reports of a prowler in the area, prompting officers to conduct a search. As of this time, no suspects are in custody.
