Terrifying moment mountaineer dodges huge falling rock with timely leap
On March 30, in the "Langka Heart" area of Kangding, Ganzi, Sichuan, a group of mountaineers began their descent after successfully reaching the summit.
Due to recent snowmelt exposing large piles of loose rocks and strong winds making the environment more hazardous, conditions became increasingly dangerous. At that moment, one climber accidentally dislodged a rock weighing over 10 pounds, sending it tumbling down the slope.
Sensing the danger, a fellow climber immediately shouted to warn those below. In a split-second reaction, a man wearing a yellow jacket swiftly leaped out of the way, narrowly avoiding the falling rock. Fortunately, no one was injured.
