This is the hilarious moment a cow barged into a group of girls posing for video - and then ran wild around the field.

The cheeky bovine was grazing on grass at a farm where the group of friends had gathered to record themselves with scenic nature as a backdrop in South Cotabato, the Philippines.

Footage shows the cattle suddenly storming into the frame just as the young women were getting into position.

The animal charged at the girls, sending them screaming and scattering in all directions.

One of them fell while scrambling away, and her pals helped pull her up.

The phone's owner, Angel Gauran, dashed back to retrieve her device when the farm animal had left before fleeing.

Angel said: 'We wanted an aesthetic video, but the cow chased us. We thought it was tied to the fence but it wasn't.

'It was a bit scary but also very funny and unexpected.'

The girls - Nicole, Angel Rose, Erika, Angel, Angel Chynne, Precious, Kim, and Christine - were unhurt and moved to another spot after the unexpected cow encounter on February 8.
