Firemen retrieve pet cat stuck up a tree in Indiana
This is the heroic moment firefighters rescued a pet cat that was stuck in a tree in Indiana.
Dramatic footage shows the emergency responder worker reaching the white feline, stranded 25ft (8m) above the ground, before slowly descending the firetruck ladder in Carmel.
The Carmel Fire Department said in a statement: 'What's one of the scariest things you do as a firefighter? Locking eyes with a terrified kitty 25ft in the air? Now that's top 5.'
The pet owner said firefighters arrived within five minutes of her call and thanked the team for their quick response on Friday, April 25.
