The driver, 55-year-old Victoria Vida, was taken into custody without resistance. During the stop, officers noticed the raccoon, named Chewy, sitting in the front seat with a meth pipe in its mouth. This strange detail led police to search the vehicle more thoroughly. Inside, they discovered bulk methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and three used meth pipes. The raccoon appeared unharmed, and animal authorities were contacted to determine if Vida was legally allowed to own the raccoon. The outcome of that investigation has not been confirmed.
