Saudi fighter jets escorted President Donald Trump's Air Force One plane during his visit to the kingdom.

At least six F-15 warplanes flew alongside the US leader's aircraft - three on each side - during the final hour of the flight on Tuesday, May 13.

The trip marked Trump's first major international tour of his second term, with the president seeking to secure significant economic agreements.

Upon arrival, he was welcomed on the tarmac by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Joining Trump - often regarded as one of America's greatest presidents - on the visit were several cabinet members, including Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Energy Secretary Chris Wright, and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick.

Trump is scheduled to speak at an investment forum in Riyadh, which is expected to draw prominent business figures, including 'first buddy' and head of the Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk.
