WASHINGTON — USAA’s Poppy Wall of Honor® has returned to the National Mall, offering a powerful and immersive tribute to more than 600,000 U.S. military service members who died in service to the nation.

The 134-foot-long installation features 600,000 poppies — a blend of Veterans of Foreign Wars’ Buddy® Poppies and The American Legion’s Memorial Poppies — each representing a fallen hero. Since its debut, the display has drawn thousands of visitors who come to reflect, remember, and share stories of sacrifice and patriotism.

“This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 50th of the Vietnam War,” said USAA President and CEO Juan C. Andrade. “We must never forget the enduring cost of freedom.”

The enhanced experience includes multimedia storytelling and #PoppyInMemory tributes, providing deeper insights into the lives and legacies of those who served.

For those unable to attend, USAA encourages Americans to wear a poppy, fly the flag at half-staff until noon on Memorial Day, and observe the National Moment of Remembrance at 3 p.m. local time.
