Red-Light Runner Flips Car, Cited After Duluth, Georgia Crash
DULUTH, Ga. — A driver who ran a red light at Pleasant Hill Road and Howell Ferry Road caused a multi-vehicle crash that ended with their car flipped on its roof, according to the Duluth Police Department.
The crash occurred when the driver failed to obey the traffic signal, colliding with a vehicle that had the right of way. That second vehicle was pushed into a third car that was stopped at the light.
The at-fault driver was transported to the hospital. The occupants of the other two vehicles sustained only minor injuries and declined transport.
Police cited the driver for reckless driving, failure to obey a traffic control device, and additional related charges.
