US, Phoenix: Tempe DPS Tahoe Involved In Head-On Collision
Phoenix, United States - June 28, 2025 06/27/2025 10:52 pm GMT-0700 TEMPE, Ariz. – A Department of Public Safety (DPS) Tahoe was involved in a head-on collision on Rio Salado Parkway just East of Rural Road late Friday night. A civilian black Chevy Tahoe was seen facing East in the westbound lanes of Rio Salado Parkway, where it had collided with the front of the DPS Tahoe. According to preliminary information, at least one person was transported from the scene by firefighters to a local hospital with an unknown extent of injuries. One man was seen in handcuffs being placed in the back of another DPS Tahoe. His involvement in the incident has not been confirmed. Rio Salado was temporarily closed in both directions as officers and troopers conducted their investigation.
