This is the shocking moment a sheet of plywood flew off a jeepney bus and struck the windscreen of an oncoming car.

Ivy Qunio and her family were driving across a bridge when the wooden sheet suddenly blew off the roof of the passing vehicle in the opposite lane in Batangas, the Philippines.

Dashcam footage shows the panel flipping through the air before slamming onto their car's windshield on July 4.

Despite the impact, the driver continued navigating the road as the plywood eventually slid off and landed on the asphalt.

Ivy said: 'I was in shock. I just accepted it was going to hit us because we were cornered. We're glad we're okay, it only left a minor scratch on our car.

'I just hope drivers become more responsible. The jeepney driver didn't even stop.'
