Jonesboro Officers Stuck in Elevator Share Humor and Stress
JONESBORO, Ark. — Two Jonesboro police officers found themselves in an unusual situation when a routine call ended with them stuck in a malfunctioning elevator, according to the department.
Officers Kinnard and Adams were inside the elevator when it began bouncing and malfunctioned, trapping them for a short period of time. Video footage shows one officer feeling uneasy in the confined space, while the other could not contain his laughter — so much so that he was unable to radio for help.
The department noted the incident as a lighthearted reminder of the importance of supporting partners in stressful moments. Both officers made it out safely, and their colleagues — along with the community — found some humor in the unusual call.
