Residents salvage packs of bread from flood-hit store after Typhoon Bualoi onslaught.

Footage captured by Ronaldo Barsolaso shows a worker wiping down pastry packs inside a storage room that had been battered by heavy rainfall in Manila, the Philippines, on September 29.

Ronaldo said: 'The rainfall was non-stop that we had to wipe each of our products one by one.'

Typhoon Bualoi, locally known as Opong, made six landfalls, first striking Eastern Samar late on Thursday evening, September 25, as a full-fledged typhoon.

Bualoi then made additional landfalls as a severe tropical storm in Visayas–Mimaropa region on September 26. It was packing sustained winds of 110 kph, with gusts of up to 150 kph, and moving west-northwest at 30 kph.

The southwest monsoon also affected several provinces along the country's western side.

Typhoon Bualoi exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Saturday. By early Sunday morning, the storm was around 200 kilometres east of central Vietnam, moving northwest.
