On September 26, at an intersection on National Highway G348 in Yantan District, Zigong, Sichuan, a cement tanker truck suddenly overturned while in motion, crushing an Audi A6 waiting at a red light.

Dashcam footage from a vehicle behind captured the dramatic moment as the massive tank rolled over, hitting the Audi’s front end.

Fortunately, despite severe damage to the front of the car, the Audi A6’s A-pillar remained intact, the passenger cabin structure stayed stable, and all four doors could still open normally. The driver sustained only minor scrapes, and the passengers in the back seat were completely unharmed.

After the accident, the car owner expressed continued trust in the quality and safety of FAW-Audi vehicles and stated plans to repurchase another Audi A6L.

FAW-Audi promptly reached out to the owner, offering condolences and support. Through its “Customer Care Fund,” the company provided lifetime maintenance services for the owner’s three existing Audi vehicles and the new A6L he intends to buy.
