US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Pedestrian Struck And Killed In Oildale
Bakersfield, United States - October 10, 2025 10/09/2025 08:59 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Norris Road and California Street in Oildale, located 3.5 miles north-northwest of downtown Bakersfield. A silver sedan remained at the scene with visible damage, and the driver is cooperating with authorities. The Kern County Fire Department and Hall Ambulance pronounced the pedestrian deceased at the scene. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident. The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed.
