Illegal Boat Transport Caught by Federal Highway Police on Highway in Amapá (Brazil)
An illegally transported boat was spotted by the Federal Highway Police (PRF) on BR-156, in Oiapoque, in northern Brazil. The video, released by the police itself, shows the danger caused by the improper transport of the vessel on the highway.
The PRF emphasized that transporting the boat in this irregular way can turn the road into a hazard for all users. The agency highlighted that moving cargo or objects improperly is not a “quick fix,” but rather a dangerous act that puts lives at risk.
According to the PRF, the operation aims to ensure law enforcement and road safety, but responsibility starts with each driver. The agency did not disclose whether fines or seizures were applied, nor the identity of the person responsible.
