Los Angeles, United States - November 16, 2025 11/15/2025 10:19 pm GMT-0800 FULLERTON, Calif. – A water rescue took place Saturday night in Fullerton, prompting a response from the Fullerton Fire Department to the flood control channel near 3000 West Orangethorpe Avenue. Fire crews were dispatched after reports surfaced of a person and two dogs trapped in the channel. A large contingent of search-and-rescue and fire units entered the area and conducted grid searches. First responders successfully located the individual and brought them to safety. Additionally, one dog was recovered; however, the second dog was swept downstream and remains unaccounted for. Emergency units continue to monitor the channel and support ongoing search efforts. The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
