A food adventurer tried crispy deep-fried bamboo worms in Thailand.

Sirinda Phiewkliang, 23, bought a bag of freshy cooked Rod Duan at Jodd Fairs Night Market in Bangkok.

Footage shows varieties of worms laid out on leaves at one of the food stalls on December 8.

The vendor can be seen scooping the white, crunchy moth worms into a plastic bag before adding seasonings.

In another clip, Sirinda took a piece of the snack and expressed how much she loves the food.

Sirinda said: 'This is actually my favourite insect ever. It is a fried worm. They live in bamboo, so they are clean and fresh. It is crunchy and very salty - both from the worm itself and from the salt and pepper. It is really good, and it is high in protein.'
