Two puppies had a lucky day as a few men rescued them from a hole in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district.

The rescue mission was captured on camera.

According to the footage, the puppies, who had fallen into the deep hole, barked for help.

Around five people, armed with rope and a bag, carried out the act.

While only one puppy was shown rescued in the video which was posted online, it is understood that the other quadruped too was saved.

A man, who entered the pit, was tasked with catching the canine and putting it in a bag, so it could be pulled out using a rope.

However, the job wasn’t easy as the distressed puppy kept on running around.

Finally, after getting hold of the puppy, it was put in the bag and later pulled out of the hole. After getting it out of the pit, the baby dog was released and it ran away soon after.

In a different yet related incident, a baby elephant was rescued from Odisha on Monday.

The calf had fallen inside a pit which was dug by government officials. The distressed baby jumbo was rescued by locals, who even after informing forest officials, took matters into their own hands and relieved the animal.
