SBCoFD responded to a vehicle into a structure. Arriving crews located a sedan that crashed through a fence and into the side of a residence causing a gas leak. The call was also upgraded for a short moment to a residential fire response due to the vehicle possibly starting to catch fire but the call was downgraded almost immediately after firefighters were able to quickly avoid the situation from escalating. Only the driver was in the vehicle at the time of the crash. The female driver was taken into custody by CHP for suspicion of driving under the influence. A family was inside the home when the crash occurred. One of the residents assisted the female driver to exit her vehicle. No injuries were reported.
