Driver Flees After Crashing Into Extra Mile Shop at Chevron Gas Station Causing Damage to Store and Merchandise
Cal Fire responded to a vehicle vs a Chevron gas station. Arriving crews located an Extra Mile store with damage to the exterior of the structure. The vehicle that collided with the building destroyed one of the side windows next to the cash register area knocking down merchandise shelves and damaging equipment inside the store. The driver also crashed into a pole near the parking lot area before fleeing the scene. At this time it's unknown if the driver was identified and taken into custody. Officers were able to obtain security camera footage of the crash which may aid in locating the vehicle and driver that caused the crash.
