California driver crashes vehicle into house displacing a family of four

Cal Fire responded to reports of a vehicle vs a structure. Arriving crews located a single vehicle crashed into the side of a residence. The vehicle had massive damage and caused also great damage to the home. The trapped driver was physically extricated and transported to a local trauma center with moderate to severe injuries. The residents of the home, a family of 4 were displaced and Red Cross was dispatched to the location. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time. It's unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor. Location - 33000 block of Simpson Rd, Winchester, CA (Riverside County)
