This is the shocking moment when a motorbike driver crosses the sidewalk in Indonesia almost bumps into children walking there.

In the footage filmed by Hinto Susanto (children's father) on September 7 on K.H. Wahid Hasyim street, Central Jakarta, show driver stopped his motorbike as nearly hit the children on the sidewalk.

According to Hinto, he and his wife tried to warn the motorcyclist that the sidewalk wasn't a road and specifically intended for pedestrians.

However, motorcyclists blame children running on the sidewalk, so the children's mother said it natural for their children to play on the sidewalk as it not a road.

Without apologizing, the motorcyclist turned on his motorcycle and left while attacking Hinto.

"What do you want? It's the sidewalk. If you dare, let's go to the police station," Hinto told the motorbike driver.

Meanwhile, at the end of the video pedestrians are seen blocking the motorcyclist.

The police claimed to have known the motorcyclist identity.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Senior Commissioner Harry Kurniawan told the media on Monday, September 9, said that although the victims had not yet made a report on this incident, they would immediately secure the motorcyclist.

"Motorcycle drivers violate traffic laws as pedestrians not for motorized vehicles, and violence can also be reported to the police," said Senior Commissioner Harry.
