This is the amusing moment a female dog swaggered through an alley while wearing a pair of pants to stop other dogs from mating with her.

Tawinan Promma has been raising the mongrel dog named Muay Lek in the neighbourhood full of male dogs in Bangkok, Thailand.

Footage taken on October 17 shows two-year-old Muay Lek lingering in the alley, but wearing a pair of brightly coloured leggings made by her owner.

The dog owner said that she wanted to prevent Muay Lek from being mated without her knowing.

She said: "I was worried that she might mate with the stray dogs from the neighbourhood so I prevented it by making her wear these panties, which will stop males from doing anything with her.’’
