Corona lockdown affects school feeding scheme, principal finds help
For many learners in sub economic areas, the meal they receive at school is the only meal they will have for the day. When the Covid19 lockdown ended school attendance many were left hungry.
The principal of the Nomzamo Primary school in Strand was affected by this to a point where she appealed for meals from relief organisations.
Earlier today food parcels and stock for a feeding project was delivered by relief organisation Gift of the Givers.
