Python caught hiding inside motorcycle headlight in the Philippines
A huge python was caught after hiding inside a motorcycle's headlight.
The snake was seen coiled up behind the plastic cover and touching the bulb in Taytay, the Philippines on May 27.
Footage shows several locals unscrewing the parts before yanking out the reptile and carrying it across the car park.
Onlooker Alibon Badron said the snake had slithered into the motorbike a few moments after the rider went down to get some breakfast.
He said: "We heard the rider asking for help because he was shocked to see the snake moving around inside the headlight."
He added that the rider found the snake while loading the bags of food he bought from nearby shops.
Several other riders came to the rescue with tools to open the headlight and extract the snake.
No one was hurt in the incident and the snake was turned over to a patrolling village officer for proper handling.
